Our stay at the JW Muskoka was truly memorable, highlighted by breathtaking views and spacious accommodations. The staff made us feel special during our honeymoon with thoughtful gestures, though we faced some hiccups with room cleanliness and service speed. Overall, it's a lovely resort with fantastic amenities, making it a perfect getaway, but it does have room for improvement in housekeeping and attentiveness.
I had mixed feelings about my stay at the hotel. While the location by the lake was stunning and the public areas were beautiful, my room had several cleanliness issues that were really disappointing. The service was friendly, but the dining experience was frustrating due to long wait times and errors in what was ordered. Overall, it has potential but needs some significant improvements.
The Marriott Rousseau is a beautiful resort in a stunning location, perfect for outdoor enthusiasts. The staff is exceptional, always caring and cooperative, and the cocktails in the lounge are a must-try. However, the hotel shop prices are exorbitant, and we had a minor issue with our room which was quickly resolved. Overall, it's a relaxing place to recharge, but be cautious of the elevated costs for basic items.
Our March Break getaway at this hotel was quite enjoyable with a great indoor/outdoor pool and daily activities keeping my kids entertained. The staff made us feel welcome, and the rooms were equipped with kitchenettes, which helped manage costs. However, the dining options were on the expensive side and the quality didn't always meet our expectations.
I stayed at the hotel for a few nights and found the property to be beautiful, located in the stunning Muskoka Lakes area. While there were some enjoyable activities and nice staff interactions, I was disappointed by the cleanliness and maintenance of the rooms and facilities. It felt like a lovely place that just didn’t quite meet its potential, especially for the price we paid.
